OVERVIEW
The Deerupt Experience was a two-day Los Angeles pop-up art and culture installation that challenged the perceptions of reality. Celebrating the launch of the adidas Deerupt, we disrupted the paradigm by collaborating with female visual artists to transform grid structures into altered physical and interactive forms that attendees could see, touch and experience. Featuring immersive theater style installations and flow, our audience was excited to engage and participate, creating content and sharing with their audience each step of the way.

THE EXPERIENCE
Our audience entered the experience through a 1980’s design studio, referencing the heritage of the shoe. From there, they entered through a portal, bringing them into another world. Each installation brought the disrupted grid story to life, from an immersive performance to interactive grid installation, and multiple grid inspired content opportunities. Brand ambassadors brought our audience from touchpoint to touchpoint with a Sleep No More inspired flow to round out the surreal experience.

adidas is committed community engagement and inspiring young Creators. We reached out to several high school through LA, bringing art, movement, theater, and design students into the experience for Deerupt inspired workshops and a private tour of the experience.
